Garden Tractor Pull Rules

Engine

1.  Must be stock location and type.  Max 2 cylinders.
2.  Bore size may be increased up to .030 inch.
3.  Camshaft must be stock type and size.
4.  Carburetor must be stock type and size for engine.
5.  No milling of head(s) allowed.
6.  No porting or polishing allowed.
7.  Ignition system must be stock.
8.  Exhaust must be pointed up and/or have a muffler installed.
9.  Governor must be hooked up and working.
10. Maximum engine RPM is 3800.
11. Foot throttles are allowed but not mandatory.
12. Engines must run on gasoline only.

Chassis

1.  Frame must be stock length and width.
2.  Front axle and rear differential must be in stock location.
3.  Factory hood, fenders and footrests must be in place.
4.  All factory guards or equivalent must be in place.
5.  Extended front weight brackets allowed.
     - Bracket cannot exceed 6 ft and 1/2 inch from center of rear axle to front of bracket.
     - Weights may not exceed beyond end of bracket.
6.  Adjustable hitches allowed, with max height of 13 inches.
7.  Two-wheel drive tractors only.
8.  Weights may be added if securely fastened and they do not interfere with safe operation of the tractor.
9.  Tires can be turf or lug type, grinding or cutting is allowed.
10. No dedicated pulling tires or chains.
11. Maximum tire size is 26 x 12 x 12.

Safety

1.  Wheelie bars with steel center wheels or steel plates are mandatory.
2.  All tractors must have operating brakes.
3.  Driver must remain seated at all times.
4.  Driver must be at least 14 years old.

Other

1.  If any part of the tractor or sled crosses the boundary lines, that pull will be stopped and no distance       recorded.
2.  If anything falls off of the tractor, that pull will be stopped and no distance recorded.
3.  Fee will be $10 per driver in each class.
4.  Each driver will pull twice in his/her class.
5.  Same tractor can be entered twice in the same class with two different drivers.
6.  Tractor can place once in each class.
7.  Class weights include driver.
8.  All participants must join club.
9.  Each tractor will be inspected before the event begins.
10. All drivers who participate do so at their own risk.
11. Track officials have the right to disqualify any tractor that is unsafe or operated in an unsafe manner.
12. Track official decisions are final.
